CAREER
OBJECTIVE To
lead a team of designers, artists and engineers and create finest digital
interactive experiences. Executive Summary: I
have over 13 years of experience in the video games industry, with 17 shipped
titles (Console, PC Web, Social Online and Mobile). I started as an entry
level game’s programmer in 2000 straight out of college and it has been an
exciting and humbling experience making games and learning from every success
and failures. I
consider myself as strong leader with experience in building (mentoring,
hiring) and leading small/large teams (20-100+ members) and at the same time
being hands-on game developer - whether it is art asset fixing using
Photoshop, writing the code to reduce loading time, deep-dive and dissect and
fix a design flaw or losing sleep over identifying the repro-steps for the
next major bug in the system. I
have zero tolerance for fluff and believe in “walk the talk”. I expect the
same from my peers and business associates.
Experience: Zynga
(2011-Current)
I
was promoted to a GM role in Oct 2012 and in July 2013, I lead my team to
launch a New IP - Hidden Shadows - a hidden objects game set in a
supernatural crime mystery theme. Currently, I’m GM on The Bubble Safari
Franchise. Game
list: Yoville, Hidden Chronicles, Hidden Shadows, Bubble Safari Reliance Games
(2010-2011) As
a Studio Manager at Jump Games (Reliance Games), I was responsible for
delivering game experience across multiple mobile platforms with a team of
110+ game developers. As a studio head, I was accountable for both the
overall health and efficiency of the development team and profitability of
the studio as a whole. Games list: Official F1 2011 Racing,
Real Steel Game, Tom Hank’s Electric City, Microsoft
(2005-2010) As
a Producer in Microsoft Internal first party game studio, I was responsible
for creating and shipping games across various Microsoft platforms (Xbox360,
MSN Games, Windows Live Messenger and Windows Mobile).
As
a Project Manager at EA Mobile (then Jamdat) I was responsible for developing project plans, setting
project priorities and facilitating cross development within company's global
studios. The role demanded large volume of games to move through the process
pipe and get ported into dozens of different handsets, each with few commons
and some unique specifications. · Ported
